Full-Time Mine Manager Operations
Job Description
This is a very senior position for a Mine Operations Manager to be based in Indonesia. The ideal candidate would be willing to relocate and has at least 5 years experience in a similar role. The job role is briefly outlined below, a full job specification will be sent over.
- Duties / Skill / Responsibilities:
Develop the long term success and rapid growth of the mine over the next 3 years
Manage a large and growing team, looking to take on a further 50% staff in the next 18-36 months
Excellent negotiations and procurement skills
Ensure a comprehensive and effective management strategy
- Qualifications and Requirements:
University degree in Mining Engineering, minimum MSC, PHD preferred
Knowledge of all phases of mining
12 years of work experience in underground and / or open pit
Experience in either an underground and/or open pit mining operation
Leadership skills
The salary for this position is negotiable dependent on experience. Bonuses, relocation and share scheme, basic salary £150-190k
